Planjeduik: the free diving app for Zeeland

By divers, for divers — the tide planner, all dive sites and the NOB emergency plans in one free app and website.

Zeeland has dozens of dive locations, but until now good information was scattered across multiple sources. Planjeduik brings it all together. For each dive site, the app calculates the ideal entry time based on current tidal data — including locations that are only safe around low tide — and gives you direct access to the emergency plans of the Nederlandse Onderwatersport Bond (NOB), site descriptions, current information and an interactive map. 

The app contains 77 dive sites in the Oosterschelde, Veerse Meer and Grevelingenmeer. Every location comes with depth data, descriptions of the marine life and its own NOB emergency plan — available right away, with no separate PDFs. With the logbook, divers record the water temperature, visibility and observed flora and fauna for each dive — and those observations can be viewed by everyone for each site. With the buddy function, you can find other divers nearby.

Planjeduik is available for free via planjeduik.nl , the App Store (iPhone) and Google Play (Android). Basic use requires no account; the logbook and the buddy function are available after free registration.
