Bonaire square at Duikvaker 2027: 14 exhibitors, dushi vibes and daily happy hour

The Bonaire Square is returning to Duikvaker in 2027 — once again as a vibrant meeting place for everyone who dreams of diving in the waters surrounding dushi Bonaire. Fourteen exhibitors from the island share a single dedicated zone on the show floor, complete with their own bar, a daily happy hour and Bonairean snacks. Duikvaker 2027 takes place on Friday 5, Saturday 6 and Sunday 7 February at Expo Houten.

What is the Bonaire Square at Duikvaker?

The Bonaire Square is the zone on the Duikvaker show floor where all Bonaire exhibitors come together, styled in a true Bonairean atmosphere, with their own bar and a daily happy hour. It is the place where Bonaire is represented on the show floor in the most welcoming way possible — a Caribbean taste of the island, right in the heart of Houten.

Why Bonaire?

According to PADI, Bonaire is the number 1 shore diving destination in the world. Of the 85+ dive sites, 54 are accessible directly from the water's edge — mask on, into the reef, no boat required.

The entire island and Klein Bonaire are surrounded by the Bonaire National Marine Park, legally protected and managed by STINAPA since 1979. That protection is what gives divers what they come for: 350+ fish species, vibrant coral, and four of the seven surviving sea turtle species in the world.

Bonaire is a special municipality of the Netherlands. No visa required, direct flights from Amsterdam. Only the US dollar as currency and the tropical climate give away that you are in the Caribbean.
