Which data

Your name, your e-mail address and the text of your message. To prevent abuse and spam we also record your IP address, the type of browser and the time of sending.

What for

We forward your name, e-mail address and message to the exhibitor you choose, so they can reply. We only use the other data to secure the form: to detect and stop spam and abuse.

Legal basis

Forwarding to the exhibitor is based on your consent, which you give with the checkbox below the form. Securing the form is based on our legitimate interest in protecting it against abuse.

Who receives your data

The exhibitor receives your name, e-mail address and message. From then on the exhibitor is responsible for what they do with your data. You only see the exhibitor's e-mail address once they reply.

For sending and security we use processors: Google (Firebase and Google Cloud, including reCAPTCHA) and Mandrill (Mailchimp Transactional, by Intuit) for sending the e-mail. The data is stored in the European Union (the Netherlands). Processing and sending the message partly takes place on servers in the United States, under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, to which Google and Intuit are certified.

reCAPTCHA

The form is protected by Google reCAPTCHA, which checks whether the form is filled in by a human and processes device and usage data for that purpose. Google's Privacy Policy and Terms of Service apply.

How long we keep your data

• Your message, IP address and other data: 30 days, then deleted automatically.
• Our security log keeps a short record that a message was sent or blocked. It does not contain your message, your full e-mail address or your IP address, only an untraceable code of the IP address and a masked e-mail address (for example j***@domain.com). We keep this record for 12 months.
• You do not receive a confirmation e-mail.

Your rights

You can withdraw your consent at any time and ask us to access, correct or delete your data. Data that has already reached the exhibitor falls under the exhibitor; please contact the exhibitor directly for that. E-mail your request to info@duikvaker.nl. If you disagree with how we handle your data, you can file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
